 | | Moving Zone plate added to Sx range PHABRIX announced today that it has released a free upgrade to all of its established user base. Among the upgrade was the addition of a realtime moving zone plate across all of the standards supported by the range including 3G-HDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI. The moving zone plate self configures for 16:9 and 4:3 aspects. The new function is selected from over 32 test patterns available within the Sx test pattern library. There is also the provision for user defined test patterns to be easily added via the ftp connection in dpx, targa and bit map formats. Other upgrade features include the addition of two more test patterns - 6 and 11 step greyscale bar patterns. The colour field generator now has custom colour selection. PHABRIX intends to release a more sophisticated 'programmable' version of the moving zone plate later this year.
