In 2009, the PHABRIX SxE won a further IABM award for design and innovation of its hand held eye and jitter test and measurement instrument. The technology embedded in the unit propelled PHABRIX to the fore of portable hand held test and measurement tools for the broadcast industry. The advanced automated measurements embodied in this easy to use design provides the engineer with a toolset previously thought not possible at a cost effective price .

PHABRIX was awarded its fouth award of 2009 in Beijing China collecting a BIRTV award for ‘Outstanding Products' with the PHABRIX SxA.

The STAR Award (Superior Technology Award Recipient) is designed to celebrate and showcase the preeminent technological innovations available to the broadcast industry. TV Technology Europe and NewBay Media staff reviewed a variety of products, examined the technical applications and their overall contribution to the industry. The PHABRIX SxE was awarded the STAR Award at IBC 2009

PHABRIX was awarded Broadcast Engineering’s ‘Pick Hit’ at NAB this year for its innovative hand held PHABRIX SxE, - a combined SDI test instrument configured with generator, analyser and monitor complete with eye and jitter analysis toolset.

In 2008, PHABRIX won the IABM's most prestigious award for its PHABRIX SxA, the world's first hand held generator, analyser and monitor capable of SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI. The IABM Awards for Design & Innovation recognise innovative products that offer significant solutions or opportunities within the broadcast and media technology industry. There are five awards in total: the highly acclaimed IABM Peter Wayne Award and four further Awards for Excellence.

Broadcast Engineering announced the winners of its Pick Hits awards for NAB2008 with the PHABRIX SxA winning this prestigious award. A panel of independent judges toured the show floor for three days, looking for innovative products and technology. The judges then met to make their selections based on several criteria, including the technical and financial improvements the product can bring to a facility’s operation.
