The PHABRIX SxD is a Dual Link varient of the hugely succesful SxA. Supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SDI-SDI the SxD offers the same handheld portabilty of the PHABRIX Sx range with a toolset focussed on Dual Link applications.

The PHABRIX Sx D can generate a range of dual link standards and RGB test signals critical to verify advanced high definition displays including the new 3G displays. In many manufacturing and production applications the SxD can test dual-link interfaces and also be used to certify design along with standards compliance. The SxD provides a SMPTE 372M compliant interface for dual link HD-SDI generation of various patterns both on-board and user defined. Post production houses and broadcasters can use the SxD to calibrate the many dual link capable devices in their facitilies, the convenient size and light weigth of the SxD easily allowing it to be transported between sites or jobs. As with all of the PHABRIX Sx family, the SxD can generate at one standard and anlayze at another allowing the user to verify the dual link interface between different pieces of equipment.

Combined Generator, Analyzer and Monitor in one instrument

The SxD's intuitive interface and logical workflow allow the professional engineer to quickly select from the numerous on-board toolsets. The large, bright 4.3" 16:9 colour TFT monitor displays each menu screen clearly. With the ability to adjust the screen to 600 candela output, the display can be viewed when light conditions would normally obscure clarity. Control of the unit is via a series of eight rubber press buttons under the display allowing the full area of the screen for both set-up, generation, analysis and monitoring.

The core device contains a generator, analyzer and monitor with support for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI. Using the simple button press control and colour coded menu system, each of the different instruments can be selected within three presses. Specific set-up preferences can be saved into the memory making the SxD personal to the specific user if required - ready to be used on repeat tasks where commssioning of equipment is important.
