From a company that has created a wealth of surprises in test and measurement instruments in recent years, PHABRIX promises to do the same again at NAB this year on stand N325. Unusually PHABRIX is keeping announcements firmly under wraps until NAB however rumour suggests that there will be three new products on the stand along with several revolutionary new feature additions for its award winning hand held Sx range. A major focus on the stand will be the new technology PHABRIX featured at IBC last year where a 2U version was on show demonstrating the ability to add different modules to fully ‘personalise’ its technology for different broadcast environments. The same uncomplicated interface used on the Sx range has been adopted by the Rx technology with a major boost in speed. Optical support is definitely a addition displayed on the IBC stand. Paul Nicholls, sales and marketing manager at PHABRIX commented; ‘ NAB is always an exciting show for us. This year we’re really taking the cover off our new technology and showing what the future has in store. The Rx certainly had people talking at IBC and this year we have more developments to show. Also new at NAB is our Dolby E analysis and the new ANC inspector which again ramps up the Sx hand held offering. ’ Pricing will be a key concern to many currently specifying new installs and PHABRIX promises to continue to produce cost effective quality instruments that include a comprehensive focused broadcast toolset. PHABRIX is also leading its marketing push with an intriguing ‘golden ticket’ found in the NAB daily and from its website. A ‘surprise gift’ awaits anyone taking the ticket to the stand North Hall N325 and each NAB daily has one inside! PHABRIX NAB North Hall N325 |
