As a Senior FPGA Design Engineer, you will be part of a small close-knit team of multi-disciplined engineers developing state of the art products for the professional broadcast market. Your involvement will be from concept definition through FPGA and board-level circuit design, to transfer into production.

The following skills are essential:

  • FPGA design and verification experience (VHDL)

Minimum requirements

  • Degree level qualification
  • 5+ year’s FPGA design and verification experience 

Knowledge of the following technologies would be a distinct advantage

  • Broadcast video
  • Multi-rate DSP
  • Audio processing
  • ARM based Embedded microprocessor system design
  • High speed UDP/IP Networking (10/25/100G)
  • 2022-6 and 2110 broadcast media over IP

Experience of the following skills and tools would be valuable

  • Xilinx tool set (ISE, Vivado)
  • Active-HDL or ModelSim FPGA simulation tools
  • TCL scripting
  • Python
  • C /C++/ Linux
  • Board level high speed digital and analogue circuit design 
  • Schematic entry and providing PCB layout guidance
