At BVE 2018, Stand L01, PHABRIX, a world leader in broadcast test and measurement, will be showcasing its enhanced HDR features for the state-of-the-art Qx range, in addition to advanced IP developments in its portable Sx TAG generator and analyser. The rack-mounted Rx 2000, which offers faster fault diagnosis with capture and remote access, will also be on show.

Qx Range – IP/12G-SDI, 4K/UHD, and HDR generation, analysis, and monitoring
PHABRIX’s Qx range delivers an advanced toolset for hybrid IP/SDI signal generation, analysis, and audio/video monitoring.

Previewing at BVE will be the new Advanced Jitter Generation and Analysis (AJGA) option, providing an invaluable toolset for SDI interface stress testing. This, coupled with fast, automated 12G-SDI physical layer analysis RTE™ (Real-time Eye) technology, provides a world-class solution to SMPTE compliance verification.

Also previewing at BVE will be Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and S-log3 support, in addition to the existing PQ HDR toolset enhancing the visualization and analysis of 4K/UHD and HD content.
PHABRIX will also showcase its new remote interface employing VNC technology, providing up to 16 simultaneous scalable instrument windows backed by a new powerful preset mechanism.

Sx TAG – portable hybrid IP, SDI, and composite generation, analysis, and video/audio monitoring
Ideal for applications demanding true mobility, PHABRIX’s IP-enabled Sx TAG portable generator and analyser now includes support for SMPTE ST 2110* and ST 2022-6 decapsulation/encapsulation. Designed for rapid fault-finding and compliance testing in IP, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, optical SDI, and analogue broadcast workflows, the Sx TAG can be used for operation in remote locations with remote monitoring over a network. Its rich toolset includes a multi-format waveform and vectorscope, and users can perform video and 16-channel audio monitoring with the built-in 16:9 screen.

Rx 2000 – Rack-mounted 4-channel analyser/generator (2K/3G/HD/SD) with monitoring
PHABRIX will also demonstrate the advanced Rx 2000 rack-mounted analyser/generator, which offers rapid fault diagnosis with video capture and remote access, ideal for broadcast QC in the studio, MCR, or live production truck. The Rx2000 features advanced diagnostics tools, RTE (Real-time Eye) and Jitter physical layer analysis instruments, plus closed-caption, loudness, and Dolby® monitoring.

“At PHABRIX, we’re continuing to push the boundaries with our growing range of 4K/UHD, IP, and HDR test and measurement solutions. Whether our customers are undertaking major transitions from SDI to IP, HD to UHD, or SDR to HDR, our latest developments offer the future-proof tools they need to transition at their own pace,” said Phillip Adams, Managing Director at PHABRIX.
